Job Overview:-
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials throughout our supply chain. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a solid understanding of logistics operations, including freight management, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
Responsibilities:-
Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
Manage freight pricing and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates.
Facilitate order fulfillment processes from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize storage and handling of materials.
Collect and analyze data related to transportation planning and inventory management.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics activities.
Develop strategies for improving logistics processes and reducing costs.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Qualifications:-
Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
Strong understanding of freight operations, pricing strategies, and order fulfillment processes.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and materials handling techniques.
Excellent data collection skills with the ability to analyze information for decision-making.
Effective transportation planning abilities to ensure timely deliveries.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
