• Ensure the security of guest rooms and their contents.
• Establish and delegate work assignments to Guest Room Attendants.
• Train and coach Guest Room Attendants on the proper methods and
standards expected in cleaning guest rooms.
• Perform inspections of rooms to ensure that company and departmental
standards are consistently met.
• Update room status and complete requisite departmental paperwork.
• Notify housekeeping office of any repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Handle guest requests quickly and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six (6) months of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift.
• Must be able to perform all duties of a Guest Room Attendant which
include, but are not limited to: being able to push or pull supply cart
weighing approximately 200 pounds, lifting up to 30 pounds, kneeling,
reaching, stooping, bending, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Knowledgeable in the proper use of chemicals used in cleaning guest
rooms beneficial.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or
licenses
